Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert

Not going to lie... I was disappointed in visiting Petrified Forest National Park. The Painted Desert was cool, but so windy it hurt! But I was disappointed because it is a driving self stopping visit through the park. Of course, I had images of trees with sparkles and array of colors because of millions of years of petrification. It is safe to say, my dreams were shattered. LOL! Even though what I saw was pretty neat, but the random tree stumps, or rocks rather, was somewhat underwhelming. Ha! Ha!
